Final Portfolios

on my last day of internship at perry high school i passed out skittles and snapped polaroids. we all had fun saying our good byes. i loved the experience, it got me all excited to teach photography. high students are so creative and have great energy.
these are some of the photographs that the students made and gave to me. aren't they just wonderful?

i wish there was some way to possibly express my love for the great outdoors....seriously. my love for nature is very much part of who i am. you know that phrase
"actions speak louder than words"?
I am going to borrow it and say "pictures speak louder than words!"

Sedona*Camping

Part 1:

it felt like forever since we emursed ourselves in nature, the great outdoors and fresh air. sitting under the stars listening to neil young, camp fire saturated clothes, finding strange bugs and mountain biking was very much needed.

the desert can fool you

[i took my polaroid out after my last day of interning.
i could not help myself.
after driving past these green fields all semester, i just wanted to walk through
them. so i did. and i'm so glad i did.]

p.s. arizona is full of surprises.
oh and husband, dog-child and i went camping this weekend. pictures coming soon.
